It’s not just a “sucks to be him” problem, because everybody hates inflation, but everybody’s got to eat and there’s some food that just got taken off the market.  This farm isn’t the only one this is happening to, it’s just that this guy is complaining *and* getting a little bit of media traction.   Not to mention everything else living in the water. 

   We need to get better about stewardship.

   I’m a farmer, and went to NCSU, lived in Raleigh for years. The entire state is red like the town in “High Plains Drifter.” They have no bottle deposit bill. They can open burn ANYTHING in their back yard any time they want. When you drive around it appears there are few regulations protecting the environment during construction. You can’t even use medical THC for dementia patients. Plastic grocery bags??? Take all you want, NP. Wilmington NC is a great example of lax zoning favoring commercial development over the environment. Recycling? Naaaah!

   So it’s no surprise at all that there are toxins in the water. No surprise at all.
