The problem with SwissID is that you have to go to a different website each time to log in and can’t stay logged in.
For example, if I go to the Swiss Post website, I first have to go to the Swiss Post login page and then to the SwissID website to log in.
Also, SwissID has virtually no distribution, so the concept of one login for different websites doesn’t really work and there is no advantage over a normal login.
Of course, since it’s a private company, there are also privacy issues.
hmm, i think swissID might be very useful to participate in online swiss stuff(like voting, order papers from gemeinde/kanton), a bit surprised people arent that interested.
Finally! No one wants a single login for everything.
