This old video needs to come back out.

And yes, I never liked them under Ruth Davidson but they’re far, far worse now.

Badenoch is thought to be coming as the next leader in Westminster for them and she’s a moonhowling anti-woke popuilist nutter

  2. Are all unionist politicians also ‘journalists’ these days?

  3. Let’s face Scottish Tories are just not good at anything!

  4. FFS the highpoint of Baroness Davidson who had less support than Thatcher’s conservatives.

  5. A conservative is a conservative at the end of the day. Even the ‘nice’ ones still do so much damage to our society. Most conservatives are completely in denial of their own privilege and devoid of empathy for the less fortunate.

The person who drove this home for me recently is my boss. The current economic system has worked out for him as a 50 year old, able-bodied, straight white guy from an affluent background, so obviously according to him there are no major flaws in the system and anyone who is struggling is just lazy and stupid.

This guy brags about how he goes out of his way to pay as little tax as possible and bitches and whines about what tax he does pay. God forbid he actually makes a contribution to the upkeep of a society from which he has benefited far more than most.

He also boasts about his fancy cars, expensive watches, holidays in the carribbean etc to workers on minimum wage and makes fun of them for shopping at Lidl. He’s very contemptous of the low paid workers at our company and says so much nasty shit behind their backs, despite the fact that his wealth and lifestyle are built off them working for peanuts.

You’ll no doubt be surprised to hear that he’s also misogynistic, homophobic and racist af behind close doors. He would fit in really well as a Tory MP.

  6. To be fair she was always a weird deluded outlier. Gay woman in party that she backed Dross, a man that voted against her ability to get married.
