  7. Notice how Vance was picked days after Trump was shot. I’d say that’s strong evidence that Vance is an assassination deterrent as a successful Trump assassination after election day if Trump wins would mean Vance as president.

  17. I see this written one way or another in r/Politics about events, “if this was a movie script, it would be rejected. But really, if someone had written a plot where a Presidential candidate barely escapes being assassinated one day, and then the very next day at his nominating convention picks a VP who had previously called him Hitler, and is as controversial as the candidate himself, it would be deemed too unrealistic.
