   According to the publication, Greece prefers to sell these aircraft back to the United States, where they can be modernized and transferred to Ukraine.

   The US Congress committee allowed Greece to buy up to 40 multi-purpose aircraft of the fifth generation F-35. The country also plans to upgrade 82 F-16s to Block-70 and acquire 24 Rafale fighters in France.
