Hello everyone. We will be travelling in a van between bergen and stavanger in the next few days. We would like to ask your opinion on a place to make an intermediate stop (we have two small children, we need to break up the journey) and any advice on places to see along the way (we prefer nature to cities, bergen and stavanger are only used as landmarks!). Thanks in advance to anyone who would like to help us. (ps: we consider short route variations from the one in the photo!)

At Aksdal, just outside Haugesund, stay on the E134 and go up to Skånevik. Take the ferry across to Matre, drive over the mountains and then the ferry from Årsnes to Gjermundshamn, then proceed to Bergen.
That’ll get you lots of nature.
