Looks like a rat to me tbh
In any case, I’d stick a box beneath the rediator and get it to fall down (gently). Secure the box sharpish (or have it face down on the floor until you get a lid.

I’m no expert, but could it be a glis glis (edible dormouse)? There’s a small colony in south east england.
