  7. JD Vance is the representative of the so called PayPal Mafia. He’s Peter Thiel’s protegee. Meaning he’s the man of the business and industrial lobby. This is bad news for the UE because it means the US will no longer subsidize anything in Europe. And will not play nice with european businesses. They will become competitors.

    So now, besides China, the EU will have to worry over competition from US companies. Especially at a time when the EU want to introduce that carbon tax ( this will destroy the european industrial base). The EU establishment is worried they will have to deal with Russia alone. Which it can’t. They would also have to invest heavily in their militaries (which traditionally are right leaning). Practically the standard of living for european citizens might decrease dramatically. Giving even more power to the extreme right.

  8. Maybe Europe should stop depending on the US so much? Yes, Trump is a disaster, not just for US but for the entire world. But EU should not tremble in fear because of this.

    I still can not wrap my head around the fact that the ENTIRE EU produces less artillery shells than Russia. Sure, Russia is in war economics right now but EVEN THEN we are talking about a ton of countries here. This is just insane.

    EU needs to get its sh*t together.

  12. The VP has no power, the ugly truth is that Trump is Putin’s puppet and he will do everything Putin asks of him. Take a look at Orban, Trump is exactly the same.

    I think the only reasonable explanation for Trump’s behavior is that Putin has some really nasty kompromat on him, that not even his loyal followers could ignore. His “America First” policy is actually “Russia first, America second, fuck the rest of the world”.

  16. Vance said it very clearly at the Security Conference. Americas foreign policy is set around China for the next forty years. Whatever Europe got because it was helping fight off Russian advances is over. Any real American interest in Russia as an adversary is over. 

    We are entering a bi polar world of American and Chinese struggle for hegemony. 

    Europe and Russia are only really now meaningful in a proxy way and Vance questions how much it is even then. 

    TBH he is completely right. 

  17. Like I have said many times. JD Vance speech in 2016 about Trump is correct. The 2024 JD Vance is a Traitor. He bent the knee and kissed the ring. It’s terrible for our country. They look like liars and cheaters. Their the ones taking our rights away on a daily deal. Trumps Project 2025 is so racist at its core it will cost us big.

  26. If America starts to not give a crap about Ukraine and the rest of Europe anymore, many European companies will start doing business with other European companies instead of America. Not good for the American economy, which Trump claims he’ll save.

    It would be a bad pick for the Americans to vote for Trump, but MTG will just keep telling the Americans how much they donate to Ukraine, while by GDP, they actually donate very little compared to countries like Estonia, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland etc.

As a French im happy that this is happening, it will ripoff the baindaid earlier, plus my country is a big weapon manufacturer with most of our stuff does not contain american pieces, it will benefit my country AND Europe to be more independent or at least taking some issues under their responsabilities (being composed of so much countries is a liability in itself, no need to add US into the equation)

  39. Nobody knows what Vance will say or do. Will he be elected to the office? Even that’s not sure. What we know for sure is that CNN, MSNBC, NYT, and WaPo will do their best to whip up anti-Trump hysteria using whatever ideas they can come up with. We have seen how they lie, cover up, make up stories and explanations that have nothing to do with reality, only power politics.
