  4. Europe and NATO need to shake the shit off and start being proactive and end the tip toeing around aggressors. Russia is a key and significant threat but only due to their nuclear capabilities. We have seen that they are militarily very incompetent, they are struggling to make headway into just 1 smaller European country after nearly 3 years. Ukraine has suffered but only because they are hamstrung by limits as to where they can attack with donated weapons and no one else fighting alongside them. Europe should be able to lead and fight with US support if needed.

Trump has made politics a national security threat right at home. JD Vance got back to 2016 and listen to how he feels about Trump. JD call Trump all kinds of truths. These far right minds has watch Game of Thrones way to many times and accepting phrases like Kiss the ring or Bend the knee…Putin and China Iran N.Korea have us right where they want America. And we want to elect a racist person. We all know most those red states are racist white folks. Trump just brought it out of them. It makes no sense to back a sicko who only wants to grift just like JD Vance.

I’m buffled how Trump & Co. thinks that China and Iran are enemies of the USA but Russia (a close ally of both of them, even though more of an vassal state to China) is a potential ally… and I’m buffled how they don’t see how the current world order has benefitted the USA. For example, I live far away from the USA but prefer speaking English rather than Chinese/Russian.

  10. Europe with dumbest foreign policy. Follows USA into war with the middle east. Gets millions of refugees and gets terror attacks. Follow USA into a conflict with Russia. Gets higher prices and record inflation. Now about to follow USA into a trade war with China. Meanwhile USA’s economy is twice as big as EU’s and that only happened in the past 10yrs or so. Some absolute top mind European leaders.

  14. I mean the Europeans are buying Russian oil from India, so we should probably take whatever they think with a big grain of who the f cares. I can understand why Europeans are a nervous of Trumps Ukraine policy. Not sure I can understand why they themselves aren’t defending their doorstep from Russia, but instead relying on the US for their own security

  15. European fears? Fact is one thing trump was right about was that we exploit Americas defence spends. We need to view this as an opportunity to be grown-ups and pay our own way. If we had all spent at least 2% on defence, Ukraine wouldn’t be so reliant on American aid as we could fill the gap. But we don’t…cause we just sit here bitching about America, laughing at Americans while they pay for much of our security.

    Honestly especially in the UK the way we think about America is so strange. Like its a colony that we look down on yet are desperate to be friends with while hating on them all the time.

  21. My 2 cents: trump is a business guy he believes he can get Europe to chipping in way more in terms of defence spending and just general responsibility for Ukraine by playing extremely hardball. And assuming that, it kind of worked. Europe is freaking out as they should because what if Trump actually believes what he says and pulls away all the financial and military aid to Ukraine/ Europe ?
