  1. Ehh she’s done what Trump wanted. Kicked the can down the road long enough that any court date will be after the election

  3. They need to investigate her, period. Is she handling other cases appropriately? Is she doing “favor” for others? Is she handing down stiffer or lighter rulings based on personal preferences or relationships? Investigate her!

  5. Cannon knows she’ll be removed AND she expects it! She’s just following orders. Another judge will be assigned, and this delay will take the case well passed the finish line (Inauguration Day).

    As much as I hate to admit it, Trump won, but what bothers me more is the GQP, the media, and RW voters all view Cannon’s decision to toss the case as a victory. These scumbags actually praise/applaud when a rapist and convicted felon like Trump beats our corrupt judicial system.

  6. Cannon has served her purpose. First she delayed matters enough to ensure the case wouldn’t go to trial before the election. As icing on the cake she delivered Trump fantastic headlines to start the convention.

    If Trump wins Aileen Cannon will become a Supreme Court Justice. At just 43yrs old there is a good chance she’ll be on the court for at least 4 decades.

    Hopefully people show up and vote with the understanding that there is more on the line than just who the President is.

  8. I’d like to point out that this will have 0 impact on her ability to be a judge. Federal Judges are life time appointments with the only way to remove them is through impeachment(extremely unlikely). The worst she will get is a stern talking too at which she will shrug and still collect her $200k+ salary until she retires.

  10. It doesn’t matter, its too late. I know Jack Smith was less concerned about the election and more concerned about Trump being found guilty but the problem is, the Supreme Court is building a wall around Trump. If Trump wins in November he’ll be untouchable.

  23. She cited a SC’s concurrence multiple times. She’s not getting removed even if the appeal goes thru. Wishful thinking.

  25. Can anyone versed in the law answer this: The article uses that argument that special counsel has been used in other cases to argue against the judge. However, in those cases, did the defendants ever put forth the argument that the special counsel was inappropriately appointed and actually have the judge rule on it? To me, it seems like this article is using the other cases as precedent, but a precedent wasn’t set in those cases. If those lawyers never argued against the existence of special counsel, then this seems like a dumb point to me.

  26. This was her role and purpose the entire time. Easy career decision for her given that she has no integrity or respect for the US Constitution. She stays on the RNC and Trump’s good side after successfully delaying the case and will, probably gladly, not be involved in the upcoming trial. Low risk, high reward, and maintains plausible deniability of any conspiracy. Shit’s broken!
