They shouldnt be attacked but they shouldnt be living in tents on the streets either. Keep them in holding areas until their applications get accepted/denied. Its reckless to let people come in, some of whom have no paperwork, to wander the streets and live in tents..
Of course it happened during the night, it’s not like the thugs have jobs or contribute anything to society now I’m just waiting on the people yesterday telling me there’s no racist element in these attacks
Imagine seeing another human having to live in a tent and then attacking another human who doesn’t even has a home, then fucking off to your house thinking you’re in the right, and that the people in the tent are somehow bad people. Pretty sickening stuff all the same.
Are you telling me not enforcing the law has emboldened wrongdoers?

The Gardaí kneeling on necks tells me they aren’t going to change course until the government and media have fully recreated the IRA.
The city center is seeming rougher than ever – though maybe it was just because I happened to be passing through, the same day as the Coolock protests.
As I was boarding an inter-city bus, the driver (who was black) had a half-eaten banana thrown at him by a passerby – and (separately but same area in the span of seconds) a mentally unwell man was screaming random abuse at passers by.
This shortly after the (tbh typical for anyone who’s lived in Dublin) experience of the homeless addict/fare-evader on the train, shouting abuse/threats at the conductor for 10 minutes, to get out of paying.
None of this societal deterioration is happening randomly or by accident – it’s very much a ‘planned high-speed flight into the Earth’, from a government that knows it is toast when the election comes – and wants to leave the biggest and most damaging possible mess it can, for the next lot that comes in.
We need the fuckers out now, and an election called immediately, to cut short the time they have left to self-destruct the country.
Considering that a random flick though X/Twitter can reveal people openly plotting to burn things and kill people, I wonder wtf the authorities are up to.
This stuff is being planned on the open internet for all to see. It doesn’t take much of an intelligence operation to find it. Just search #Coolock
