  4. Previously I was thinking that someone would have to be killed before the state used the tools at its disposal to crush the far right.

    Then Josip Strok was killed and still fuck all happened. The agitators still walking around peddling their bullshit; some subsequently ran for elected office.

    Now I’m not convinced that the government has any will to destroy this insidious threat to our country.

    See the problem is that even though this guy is stupid and already identified, the way the country is being run is going to create a lot more stupid fucks just like him, and not all of them are likely to be caught before doing something.

    Increasingly authoritarian laws and policing powers aren’t going to stop stupid fucks like this.

    The only thing that will stop this, is easing the multiple pressure points on society caused by various poly-crises (housing, cost of living, immigration, health etc. crises) – and that’s going to mean making a lot of powerful and wealthy people very unhappy with losing their ‘free lunch’/various-rents – so that we return to having a healthy society that isn’t creating crazy/stupid fucks like this.

  14. Admittedly might have missed it, but have not seen one Government member, or journalist, people who have spent the last few years talking about “online abuse” for any slight criticism they get have any support or any condemnation of this.

  15. For those of us of a certain age when I seen his picture I thought of the Tooting Popular Front and I suppose its easy to laugh at clowns like this like his picture should be published, I don’t know how serious we should take it
