    I don’t think madrid will go into season with 3 CB’s while we have 70+ games to play.

  4. Makes zero sense. If they believed no CB on the market is on the same projection why wouldn’t they offer more for him?

    We struggled last year with our CBs and this year we will have one less since Nacho left.

    Alaba was playing horribly before his ACL injury. We should not count with him, just hope he recovers enough level to be useful for the team. Vallejo played 16 matches in 3 years.

    Selling Rafa Marin to Napoles & missing Yoro is probably the worst market move i remember in the last 10 years if they don’t sign someone

    Paper thin CB depth it is then next year. If we lose Tchou or Cama for any period of time, this decision will be amplified.

  8. I remember going into home classico with tchoua and carva as cbs, ended fine but with the amount of games we’re gonna play and the injury crisis we had at the beginning of the season until December and nacho out we at least gotta sign one cb.

  9. Sometimes I think RM get a little too snobbish about who they sign and it negatively affects depth / forces players to play out of position. Just sign someone who can cover for a couple years while you wait for the next hot defensive prospect.

  12. We literally have 4 real CBs at our disposal. Rüdiger and Militao will be our starters. Alaba and Vallejo will be subs. And we still have the possibility to use Tchouameni if needed. Camavinga can play as CDM.

    Still it sucks that we lost the race for Yoro. He would set us up for years to come. Rüdiger and Alaba are both on the older side and Alaba has only one year of contract left.

  13. Honestly why not bring Pepe or Ramos. If they agree to have a minor role thatd be awesome. Militao and Rudiger is UCL defence anyway. My only issue with our defence its that its kinda old. Yoro would have fixed that by himself.

    He’s so tall I I think we were only cooked in crosses last season.
