  1. Right so Reynolds is saying he doesn’t care about the front end money because he’s banking on getting a ton of the back end money.

  2. To be clear – this is him talking about making the first Deadpool movie, which I guess didn’t have the full confidence of the studio or whatever. Just the usual thing where celebrities have to let you know how “tough” it was for them back in the day.

We can all feel pretty certain that he’s getting paid very well for this one.

  3. I took the little salary I had left and got Taco Bell for dinner

  4. If only he took that money and financed a slew of rock solid Amityville horror movies instead of the public domain schlock we keep getting. He was fuckin great in that remake.

  5. This guy has always and continues to seem like a douchebag in sheep’s clothing. Just my feel from the little I’ve seen of him. Do not watch anything he is in because I find him insufferable.

  6. Oh fuck him, maybe if writers and workers were paid reasonably he wouldn’t have to do this PR bullshit. Hey Ryan’s, how about supporting Unions instead of making articles about your poor bank account.

  7. Sounds like a goodwill tour to me. All that stuff TJ said about him rings true even coming from someone like TJ

  8. Everybody already said my peace on the billionaire losing his extra $5, but tbh i’m more concerned that writers weren’t allowed on set. It’s bogus, and a real issue when you realize how many re-writes and re-shoots are needed last minute, and how costly all of that can be on top of time crunch.

I think those writers are just as integral to the movie as Reynolds himself, and I actually support him going out of his way to ensure the movie was written to perfection, considering how great the final product ended up. Not giving him sympathy points though lol, he absolutely made his money back, tenfold.
