King’s speech reference to ‘disastrous’ mini-budget removed after Truss complaint

1. I thought the far right respected the right to free speech?

   I can already see the headlines if someone on the left did this. “King CENSORED by intolerant left!”

   Truss is the third worst Prime Minister we ever had after Chamberlain and Eden.

   There’s no way Truss wrote a letter like that with so many big words.

    I had not heard anything about the “disastrous” reference until the stories came out about Truss requesting its removal.

11. Surprised the bank of england wasn’t investigated after the corruption they carried out intentionally turning on the mini budget. Whether you agreed with the changes or not it’s scalandalous that they have the power to do that.

16. Maybe, maybe it would also reference in the speech a bit where Bank of England announced guilt sales the day before the mini budget as a deliberate attempt to de-stabilise the incumbent trust government! Maybe

18. Disastrous? Typical British understatement…it was a catastrophe patently doomed to fail brought forward by the most inept PM ever and the worst governing party the UK has ever seen.
