So relatively small changes in small volume searches can result in a high trend number at a given time. Where as even some large numbers on high volume searches are still relatively small changes so under-considered on Google Trends. Finally Google isn't the dominant search engine in Russia, domestic giant Yandex gas more Russian searches – so we're only getting part of the picture.
