  1. That would get me interested again. Their movies are easily the strongest out of all the MCU output, in my opinion.

  2. Kinda makes sense. Marvel has been floundering a bit and the Russos’ post Marvel movies haven’t really impressed. So could be very mutually beneficial at this point.

  4. It really shouldn’t be a “shocker”. They said they would be open to coming back to direct this shortly after Endgame was over.

  18. I was a huge marvel fan for years, even through the bad ones but now.. I kinda don’t give af. I didn’t even watch the new Captain America trailer. It’s gonna take something seriously huge to get me to care at all about the MCU again and I just don’t think they will every live up to the RDJ era

  20. Why can’t they just let this tired franchise die? The magic is gone. The chemisty of RDJ, Evans and Hemsworth was the glue holding it all together.

  21. I mean, they directed 4 of the highest rated MCU movies so it makes sense but I would like a different flavor for the next avengers movies

    They were great. They were fun.

    But I give up – I can’t take any more Marvel movies!

  24. The movies were fine until they decided to focus on targeting audience groups instead of just focusing on the best possible stories. Trying to fill every void and every audience means a lack of consistency.

    Personally I think they should have stuck to the major Marvel arcs. I hated the Eternals because it had no reason to exist. Shang-Chi was also nonsense.

    Too many movies as well, which is a Disney trait. They almost made me dislike Marvel as a brand.
