  1. Seems like the tipping point is approaching. Probably too late to make an announcement tonight, but maybe tomorrow? Or Friday?

  2. What’s that sound? Coconuts, by gawd. That’s KAMALA’S MUSIC!!!

  3. Biden is finally reaching the final stage of grief for his presidency

  4. Probably because a handful of more polls recently came out showing other replacements doing better than him.

  5. Announce it just as the other one starts his speech tomorrow. Please!

  6. Love Joe. He is a good man. A good husband, father, and a good president.

But I also think he needs to step aside.

    Harris – Buttigieg?

  7. It’s just a matter of time now, I think. The (intentionally?) leaked conversation between him and Schumer makes his standing even more difficult. What will be the official ‘excuse’ for him to drop out though?

  8. Didn’t he just hang up on a call with house democrats like today refusing to answer questions?

  9. If Biden drops out, and Kamala gets in and nominates [any straight white male democrat] for VP; they’ll dominate 2024.

  10. Guys, I’m real tired. Can we get to the climax already?

  11. The least believable headline in this whole entire media-made saga

  12. The media is going to hound every Democrat:

    – Why is Biden dropping out?

    – Is this about his health or electability?

    – Why should Americans elect any Democrat if they feel Biden can’t win?

    – Was Biden forced out?

    – Is this a fair process? Is this an abandonment of the democratic process?

    – Is the party unified behind this decision? And Harris?

Democratic leaders need to be ready. Such an announcement is going to draw *all* the attention, and a lot of questions will demand answers.

  13. I think people are really underestimating the amount of sexism/racism in America. Personally I am fine with anyone except Trump for 2024, but there are many people that feel different and wouldn’t vote for her for the presidency. I don’t think a Harris ticket is the slam dunk everyone keeps presenting it as.

  14. Once he gives an inch it’s over. It might already be over

  15. He’s gonna drop out tomorrow like 5 minutes before Trump goes on stage to steal the news cycle from Donald, that’s my thought.

  16. I was always going to back Joe. I think he’s too old, but Harris was ready whenever he needed to step down. And you know, I wanted to vote again on 2028.

I didn’t really expect that there was a shot that Biden would drop, but the fact that Pelosi seems to be pushing for it seems to make it a real possibility.

  17. Calling it right now. If he drops out, it’ll be on Friday after the stock market closes.

  18. 🤣😭The comments here the last two weeks have been a rollercoaster. American politics are so wishy washy and the public is so capricious it’s ridiculous

  19. Do it or fucking don’t. We are running out of time

  20. right now I’m sick with COVID (Day 17) and I’m definitely receptive to dropping out of the human race…

  21. I can’t imagine why he would want this stress at this point in his life.

  22. He apparently has COVID. He can bow out gracefully by saying the virus is taking a toll on him

  23. I figured higher profile Democrats getting bold enough to say he should drop out means that the effort to quash sentiment as Congress came back in session didn’t work.

People are talking about their concerns and realizing they aren’t alone.

No one wants to be that first to stand up because back up could never materialize.

  24. I can’t anymore with this bullshit. Every single new agency is reporting on Biden and how old he is and how he should drop.

Mean while it’s crickets about Trump and his dementia. His ties to Epstein. Him taping children. Him being a felon multiple times. I hate this world. I hate it so much.

  25. Really pushes the age argument fully into Trumps court.

  26. If Biden himself has doubts he needs to do it asap. We need every minute we can get to pivot.

  27. I’ll tell you when he should resign the presidency… right when Trump takes the stage at the RNC.

  28. If he steps aside I think we’re even more done for. We’d have to start from scratch with a new candidate and give up that advantage of being a sitting president who’s done a decent job so far.

  29. Stand strong. President Biden is the best candidate for the job. His cabinet, VP Harris, and his advisers make up the effective legislative power to rectify the financial and moral devastation from Don the Con’s reign. No one else has been as thoroughly vetted.

  30. This is probably an unpopular opinion but it feels kinda sad to see him go out this way

  31. He needs to make up his fucking mind already. The end of democracy is on the line if Trump wins. If Biden is just pushing because he has that *old man can still hang* idea in his head, he needs to step down.

I’ll vote for anything with a (D) after it’s name, but some people on the fence. Any candidate that says he would be *at peace* if he loses to Trump and told Governors he can only do events to 8:30pm because he needs sleep is a weak candidate.

This shit should have happened months ago. Not now! We need someone who can fight, and not a calm and slow pushover.

  32. Fully supporting Biden as the nominee. If after private discussions with his inner circle he steps aside I will fully support his replacement. The mission remains the same. We have to stop fighting one another.
