1. Europe always considers a lot of things but leaves the action to someone else.

2. Should have done it.

3. Always easier to ‘do nothing” and often times that’s what happens.

4. Afaik the army of the Netherlands is just a part of the German army.

6. I’m sure ”whoever” shot it down would’ve been quite scared of facing the mighty Dutch armed forces. Even if both of them were deployed at the same time. 

7. Considered, thought about, contemplated… These are all fancy words for didn’t.

8. What could the Dutch have deployed? 500 troops?
