Wher are left wing populists?
What is an East-Germany?
Its crazy to see the clear division of borders. Not just country borders but also regions like Catalonia and Flanders
I don’t think in Hungary “Mi hazank” who is far got most of the votes.
map for catalonia is wierd, makes it seem like we vote center right(pp) while we mostly vote regionalist parties or socialist.(regionalist, left and center left)
Edit: in the OP map the mix of purple, green and red looks grey? wtf
edit2: In the interactive map of spain looks clear: [https://www.eldiario.es/politica/resultados-elecciones-europeas-2024-a-calle_1_11431936.html](https://www.eldiario.es/politica/resultados-elecciones-europeas-2024-a-calle_1_11431936.html)

I smell bias and bs from a mile away, just from the way the “fractions” are described.
that’s interesting that eastern germany, who was former communist, now votes for far-rights, the total opposite of them.
The color choice is strange as (at least in Czechia), the main two sides in elections were center-right somewhat conservative SPOLU coalition that is more successful in prosperous urban areas and ANO catch-all populist project adopting an orbanist stance recently. ANO can be kinda sorta classified as far right now as they co-founded the Patriots faction. However, in the map I see two shades of blue with the more urbanized and economically succesful areas tending to vote for SPOLU are in light blue as if they voted for far right.
EDIT: After repeatedly zooming in, I think some of th light blue areas are actually light gray tinted by blue spots in them, but it is hard to distinguish clearly.
Not sure I’d class Fianna Fail (Ireland) as Liberal instead of Center Right. It would be more accurate to class them as center right. They historically shift from conservatism to liberalism and vice versa but are usually centre or right of the centre.

What is happening in Bulgaria bro I’m here and I don’t understand
whole France voted far right ? what ?
That map is wrong:
– green and regional are not the same thing
– regional parties can be left or right also
– most Catalonia independent parties are right
I think hungarian fidesz would fit better in the right-wing populist category
Lol this map is misleading bullshit
Looks like someone whose diet consists of crayons colored this map.
Jo, die Ossis mal wieder.

People aren’t even trying to include Northern Europe anymore.
Detailed ? That’s just not right. This make its look like half of Europe votes far right which is just not true. This is a great example of how you can tell a story with a map.
Also I would like the definition of : liberal. right wing populist and far left. And center right while we are at it.
“Greens/regionalists” sounds weird, like, “we wish to protect the environment, the biodiversity AND THE GREATNESS OF EUSKA!!!!!”
Interesting how Portugal and Spain vote the same way to the point you would barely notice their borders, but then Catalonia and the Basque country vote like they’re their own thing
Greece:
#ALL
We have no left party in Romania. The Social Democrats are conservative on anything social and populist on the economy. Wonder how misleading it is with other parties
“Ethnicity is outdated” mfs when there’s a straight line between walloonia and flanders
Eeew red…
Is Germany really the only country with such a strong divide between countryside and big cities? In the west every larger city is a green spot in a sea of black.
This map was made by somebody who clearly had no idea where to put the populist Central European parties on the spectrum. They map would have been actually much better if they had just coloured for the different fractions.
Whats the source of this map?
Czechia and Hungary are crazy
