Option a and b are similar to the party polling numbers really.
I’d love to know whos preference is for a SF/FF coalition…
FF will never coalesce with SF. It’d be the end of them.
Please no more FG PLEEEEASE theyve destroyed the country
It’s kinda remarkable how well the government is doing compared to any other European country out there. FG have been in power for over a decade now and are likely to have the largest amount of TDs if polling is believed.
Sinn Fein won’t be going anywhere really, unless something radical happens as they’ve lost core constituencies to the “independents” and Far-Right.
Think the state of play really helps FG at the moment as they can more plausibly pivot to the right than FF can for a variety of reasons
Have we just decided that shelter is beneath us now?
It’s not about politics. It’s about allowing college educated office workers to afford to rent a one room apartment the size of a shoebox.
I have little to no faith SF can deliver that utopian, socialist dream; but I am positive Fine Gael has no intention to.
In ten years, when nomadism is normalised in our media, who will we be blaming then?
Market research company with ex-Fine-Gael CEO, hosts a survey finding that FF/FG are preferred over SF.
*shock*
I think that the most surprising thing I’ve encountered recently in Irish politics was that a majority of people in rented accommodation voted for FG as their 1st pref in the locals and euros.
This poll only adds to that surprise, if I’m honest. Yes, things are going great in the country for a lot of people, but most people would also recognise that there are major problems in health, housing, immigration, planning and infrastructure. You’d expect, with that being the case, and with FG being at the helm for over a decade now, that there would be some movement away from them. Apparently not.

43% isn’t much significantly ahead of 38%

Conservative Ireland…
