Foreign police to help patrol Paris streets during Olympics • FRANCE 24 English

Qatar is one of 40 countries sending law enforcement to Paris at France’s request to help police the city during the Olympic Games which is starting in less than two weeks’ time. A total of 1,750 police from Spain, the UK and Germany among others will help patrol the streets of Paris alongside some 35,000 French police and gendarmes.

  10. so 245 British police being sent, that will be a total waste of time as they are useless in the UK, so what makes the French think for one second that British police will be any use over there. Its just an excuse for them to go on a jolly and make some huge overtime earnings. What a joke.

I say this is quite shameful that after bashing all who look like arabs. This "great nation " has to outsource security to the same group BUT I guess, shame is a word absent from the french dictionary
