Sure you can have 50 to 70 convictions before you go to jail. He has a few more to get away with yet.
He was given a chance with his first offence, the same as many other people are on their first offence. This is a new offence but I’m not sure if a road traffic offence can activate a suspended sentence.
Although I’d say the Garda in Cork took some joy in changing him
