(Deutschland) ist bunt genug: Germany is colourful enough. Is that a message to stop immigration, and therefore a display of racism?

I'm really puzzled as I can't believe this would be displayed in the center of Munich, so a part of me hope I'm misunderstanding and there is another explanation. Please enlighten me…

  1. Your interpretation is correct. It basically means “Black-red-gold (the colors of the flag) is all the diversity we need”.

  2. It’s either anti-immigration, or anti-LGBQT (in direct opposition of the pride flag), or probably both. I don’t see any other explanation.

You really think there are no xeno- and homophobic idiots in the center of Munich?

  3. “Schwarz-Rot-Gold ist bunt genug” – Its a classic AfD Parole. Think I saw it first during the 2017/2018 election cycle.

  4. It means that someone is telling the world he only has two brain cells, who are both busy fighting for 3rd place..

(Anti-immigrant and/or anti-LGBQT person, who thinks “Germany is colorful enough”…)

  5. This is anti 🏳️‍🌈 community statement. Typical bigot assholes

  6. > Is that a message to stop immigration, and therefore a display of racism?

That’s a bit of a leap… One can be against immigration and not be a racist.

Although, yeah – this exact banner is racist in 50%. The other 50% is they’re actually homophobic.

  7. I would translate it as “These colours are all we need”

It looks like a anti lbgt-thing

  8. On that flag it says “Ist bunt genug” which translates to “It’s colorful enough”

  9. I find it kinda funny that the last word on the yellow stripe is barely legible, so most people casually looking that way are gonna read this as „Deutschland ist bunt“

  10. >I’m really puzzled as I can’t believe this would displayed in the center of Munich.

Have you ever heard Söder (Prime Minister of Bavaria) talking?

  11. It either means “Fuck off Queer people!” or “Fuck off immigrants!”. Probably both, though.

It is great at signalling assholes and bigots

  12. I’d guess it means that they love their homeland and its colours, and both of the 2 genders that exist.

Could mean that they are sick of the systematic de-nationalisation of Germany and the endless alphabet-people propaganda that is happening in the West.

I understand their point of view.

Even though most users here will call them “bIgOtS” or “nAzIs”.
    You know the drill ^^

  13. If you’re puzzled by open racism in Munich, you must have arrived today.

  14. To me it basically says: “I’m a person you don’t wanna get involved with because I’m dumb as f*ck”.

  15. To be precise. Stop immigration is not the same as racism. I mean kind off, bit not the same.

  16. nope, your interpretation is spot on. AfD is unfortunately a pretty strong movement in Germany by now.

  17. How is having the opinion that immigration should be stopped automatically racist? Thats nonsense.

  18. It’s an official signature put up to show that the inhabitants of the apartment are braindead. Unfortunately they still move and talk, so emergency services can’t vacate the premises…

  19. There are two kinds of interpretations: A. Germany is colorful enough, so stop immigrants. B. Germany is colorful enough, so welcome to Germany.

  20. Everyone in the comments calling someone whos fed up with the negative effects of uncontrolled immigration a Nazi and Stupid have truly never experienced a Day in Neuköln

    Ignorieren, weitermachen.

  22. the flag says it is colorful enough. And personally i think that is true.

  23. Absolutely based. If there were more people like this, maybe Germany wasn’t that fucked in every single aspect

  24. It means that the person who hung the flag is a fascist bastard.
