Chickens come home to roost , he sat there openly hating on the Americans and now they won’t engage with him on a professional level , this hurts our country no end . The quicker this clown Lammy goes away the better for everyone in the UK .
How is this in any way unusual? Ofc UK ministers will find a way to work with the leadership in the USA. Cutting off diplomatic relations is fairly far down the escalation track for countries.
When Lammy, or anyone else, becomes a minister it is their job to perform that role. Deep down I’m sure he considers Vance a pathetic suck up that represents everything that’s wrong with the spineless malice of the modern Republican party. However, his job as Secretary of State is to work with all manner of people.
The UK, and the world in general, would do itself a massive favour if it doesn’t feigning surprise when a person’s change in role means they have to do something differently.
