  1. That will have a nice Streisand effect over the coming months.

  2. “Uhhh…. can’t afford to pay that this month. I’m a little short….”

  3. Someone who would make fun of persons physical traits is not a journalist.

  4. That’s like having your Mom show up at your school to berate your bullies.

  5. I could be wrong, but I think the actual reason the Journalist was fined was for sharing a fake picture whicj had an edited in photo of Mussolini in the background. The journalist then insulted Meloni for her height:

The €5000 euro fine doesn’t seem to specifically be for insulting her height:

    > The journalist, Giulia Cortese, was also given a suspended fine of 1,200 euros for a jibe on Twitter, now named X, in Oct. 2021 about Meloni’s height that was defined as “bodyshaming”.

  6. Stupid little snowflake takes a journalist to court over comments on her height. How sad and pathetic.

  7. bit too much for mocking someone’s height don’t you think?

  8. Classic “anti-cancel culture” right winger. Are we even surprised anymore?

  9. Well you could say that she had a SHORT temper. Let’s just hope that the journalist is not SHORT on cash.

  10. This is ridicolous, the US should be example for freedom of speech lawmakers in Europe.

  11. I mean she’s not even 1.60m, she is short idk whats terrible about it.

If i call her stupid what happens?

  12. Good. There are so many disgusting things about her, height is the least a journalist should care about.

But also a bit strange that she cares, since far righters are not exactly the most open minded about the concept of body shaming.
Pretty sure she would be called a snowflake in another situation.

  13. I’m 164cm tall and male and if I could sue people mocking me for being a tiny, short arse, miniature human I’d be bloody loaded.

  14. She really has to feel unconfortable about her own height, for years alternative press published a comic strip about her, titled “La ministronza”, a pun about her being a Minister (Ministra), tiny (mini) and an asshole (stronza).
    No problem there vOv.

  15. So you’re not allowed to satirize, or criticize authority figures? Hmm this brings bad memories.

  16. I know people that are 5’2″. It’s short, yes, and maybe the concern is that it would have people take her unseriously as a leader because of it, but there are much more substantial reasons to case shame on her as a leader.

    Also, haha Meloni short

  17. Good. Bullying over looks needs to be stopped.

  18. If Rishi Sunak was Italian he’d have doubled his personal wealth in just a few months as leader.
