J.D. Vance’s radical plan to build a government of Trump loyalists: “Fire every single midlevel bureaucrat, every civil servant in the administrative state, replace them with our people.”

The Conservative agenda is completely idiotic just prior to automation. You keep your experienced employees in their positions and then give them the tools to most efficiently automate the process. Firing everyone and replacing them with uneducated laypeople (idiots, by definition… people need to get over idiot as an insult… it is merely a descriptor of your lay understanding of a field of knowledge) who have no interest in making gov’t more efficient is an an idea that could only have been created by a φάκελος of Fascists, for sure. You basically have to not have a brain to be a ‘tech-bro’ and say this stupid shit.
They have a name for that plan
They published it for the world to see well over a year ago
[Here](https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/23373795/curtis-yarvin-neoreaction-redpill-moldbug) is some more detail of what the possible VP subscribes to. Also written by Pokop, 2 years ago. Vance is insane.
> “Fire every single midlevel bureaucrat, every civil servant in the administrative state, replace them with delusional idiots.”
What could possibly go wrong?
So Project 2025 then.
And there it is. Thats why trump picked him as VP. Because he’s onboard for project 2025.
…and so we end a tradition of “We, the People” and become a nation of “He and His People”, RIP the American experiment.
Man if I survive the inevitable wave of stupidity that will devastate our ability to effectively run things, I’m going to be able to demand top dollar for my competency in the rebuilding phase afterwards.
More context:
[“I tend to think that we should seize the institutions of the left,” he said. “And turn them against the left. We need like a de-Baathification program, a de-woke-ification program.”
“I think Trump is going to run again in 2024,” he said. “I think that what Trump should do, if I was giving him one piece of advice: Fire every single midlevel bureaucrat, every civil servant in the administrative state, replace them with our people.”
“And when the courts stop you,” he went on, “stand before the country, and say-“ he quoted Andrew Jackson, giving a challenge to the entire constitutional order-“the chief justice has made his ruling. Now let him enforce it.”
This is a description, essentially, of a coup.
“We are in a late republican period,” Vance said later, evoking the common New Right view of America as Rome awaiting its Caesar. “If we’re going to push back against it, we’re going to have to get pretty wild, and pretty far out there, and go in directions that a lot of conservatives right now are uncomfortable with.”
“Indeed,” Murphy said. “Among some of my circle, the phrase ‘extra-constitutional’ has come up quite a bit.”]
Our new city planner is Fred, your alcoholic neighbor from down the street. He got the job because he had the most Trump signs in his yard.
sounding a lot like homelander…..
I get the sneaky suspicion that they know this is going to ruin every form of efficiency and problem solving capacity the gouvernement has, so they can make more people angry and sell it as evidence that everything is better left to the companies. Corruption will be huge in the US.
Mass layoffs in the country’s largest employer. Way to trash the economy morons.
“Our people.”
Fuck that guy.
There are two reasons why politicians want to do this, 1) corruption and 2) authoritarianism. The US has a history of this kind of thing and President Garfield was literally assassinated over this issue. Back then it was about corruption. With Trump and modern Republicans it really seems like a combination of both corruption and a desire for one party rule. Corrupt authoritarian states are not exactly unheard of and there would be a lot of money to be made corrupting the US government even more than it already is.
Only one side says this. Why don’t people see it?
The GOP is planning a coup in plain sight while the dems are discretely trying to find the most delicate way to make a 81yo understand he might not be their best bet at surviving.
The Handmaid’s tale sounds like a terrible world to live in. I’d rather vote for a brick wall than this guy
After watching his speech last night, I can unfortunately see too many Americans falling for his shtick, in particular many swingy voters who might have supported Bernie earlier.
To become the US president, the Constitution only requires you to be at least 35 years old and born in the USA. Maybe it’s time we also demanded a minimum IQ and a decent knowledge of world history. Just a thought, considering the current state of affairs.
Boomers are about to get the shock of a lifetime when one of Trump’s brain rotted patronage picks screws up the monthly SS disbursement. Hope you got savings, MAGAts.
The Federal Government is the single
largest employer in the United States. This proposal would torpedo the economy. We’re at full employment right now. Why do conservatives want to fuck with success?
“I want to raise the unemployment level to nearly double digits in order to help enact ideological policies that will severely inflate the economy and take away people’s rights, but only the people I don’t like/agree with.”
Sickening to think where we’re headed.
“Our people.”
Note to all Americans- they don’t consider you, “our people.”
Would this/schedule F apply to military personnel?
For those saying that military wouldn’t follow orders towards American citizens- this is how you turn the military against citizens.
Just curious how they are going to get 100,000+ of their people to move to DC and where will they live? Assume they would slash a ton of jobs as a starting point and go from there, and a lot of those are going to be union jobs too. Sounds like a logistical nightmare that would take years and years to complete.
Fan-fucking-tastic!
Stalin-esque purges are really what we need to support the working class and grow the economy.
I know, because every other time it has been done in history it worked out so well.

Hi I’m a civilian Fed and let me say hahahahahahaha.
They gonna fuck up so much. They do not have anywhere near enough competent people, who understand the beaucracy to do this. There are so many things I’m not allowed, by law, to do. You put in a manager above me who doesn’t understand purchasing and shit will just not get purchased. I am not allowed by law to do that step.
2 results from this: first, the VA, SSA, and every other relevant agency with direct customer service activities will flop. People are going to get PISSED when the VA quits surgeries because someone fucked up the PO for sterile supplies, or some failson trys to “optimize” scheduling.
Second, they will create a deep state, where one doesn’t exist. The people just below these incompetent fools will be the real power, because they understand the legally mandated bureaucracy. Because most civil servants give a shit, they wont do active sabotage (usually) but they will do what they need to, lie and manipulate who they need to, to keep the wheels turning. It won’t be enough to prevent delays and scandal, and the feds will get leeeeeaky, but it’ll stop collapse for a year or two.
