They closed Ennis and Nengah EDs before they had extended Liimerick, so as small and shite as they might have been, at least they had some capacity. Probably the same with Roscommon and other parts of the country.
Although having said that, growing up in Clare, we all knew that if you ended up in Ennis, you were fucked anyway, so maybe it made no difference.

That means nearly half of those patients were admitted twice? Or an even smaller number, admitted multiple times (I know these are UK numbers, but probably the same here), does that mean we should have a better way of getting admitted, or care in the community or something.
I wish one day the EU would have a look at Ireland and see all the things that go wrong here.
Last year I read the survivability of cancer overall tanked by more than 20%. Tip of the iceberg, etc.
