Can I exchange both series of marks for euros still as seen in both photos? I’m having trouble comprehending the German bank website. Photos are examples I found online.
You probably have to make a trip to a branch of the Bundesbank (the national bank of Germany). They have branches in major cities and are by law required to exchange Marks for Euros indefinitely.

The website is available in English, too.
