Just around the corner, at Bakkerij Fierens, there’s mailbox of a buste of a rather voluptuous woman with a baker’s hat. It says ‘Van korstjes krijg je borstjes’. Same artist, I think. They’ve been there for at least 15 years or so.
Moet leuk zijn voor de iets avere postbodes.

Lol that’s perfectly sculpted bronze or some shit. I’m sure it took a huge amount of time and/or money to make this. This guy really hates his mailman. Check the detailing on the feet. My man probably spent months creating something beatifully retarded just for the lulz. I absolutely LOVE this.
I used to live in this street. There’s also a mailbox where you put the letters in between a headless woman’s mammaries.
Averbode is just a weird place.
I drive past that one almost daily, it’s a childhood memory aswell that thing has been there for as long as I can remember
Please go back on saturday morning & take another picture of it.
I want to see how it looks with a weekend edition of De Standaard shoved into it.
