Today is our last day, packing our bags and getting ready the car to drive us the 1400 miles home.
We have spent a lovely fortnight in this beautiful country, also thanks to your suggestions. We had the best fresh cod (hence the title) , the scenery was stunning at best, the lovely kind people, the weather, Cumbernauld, etc.
We will return, in the future, but further north as I did not realise how big Scotland 🏴 is. So any suggestions on a place to stay near Inverness, like Cumbernauld, will be most welcome.

Looks like uou got a good glimpse of the central belt, looks mostly like the eastern parts but you’ve got the whole of the north of Scotland to do next time, which is a vastly different experience. Best scenery in the world up there. Have fun 🙂
So long!
So long!
1400 miles drive 😲 where did you drive from?
There’s nowhere quite like Cumbernauld.
So long!
wait, did you say you stayed in Cumbernauld?
I started singing the opening line to Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy when I say the post title
Tarbert!
Hope you enjoyed Tarbert! Been here a year and love it!
Sorry, is this the only time in the history of Cumbernauld someone has mentioned it in a positive light?
I actually thought this was a joke post because you said that 😂😂😂
