Blinken says first F-16 jets are being sent to Ukraine from Denmark and the Netherlands

The first batch of F-16 fighter jets are already being transferred to Ukraine from Denmark and the Netherlands and will be flying over Ukrainian skies this summer, the US secretary of state, Antony Blinken, has said.

Blinken, speaking on 10 July at an event on the sidelines of the Nato summit in Washington, said a robust package for Ukraine will be announced over the next couple of days that will build a clear and strong bridge for Ukraine’s Nato membership

  3. If the US is truly helping Ukraine it will have to send F35 and/or F22 which can give a better defense than the old F16 recovered from the scrap heap.

  7. What support for Ukraine are you talking about if you, Mr. Blinken, simply cannot protect the mobile communications of mobile operators from hacking by cyber criminals of Azerbaijani origin, thereby jeopardizing the interests and protection of your own state from cyber hacking

  14. On July 5, the Biden administration provided another $2.3 BILLION to Ukraine while the U.S. is drowning in debt. Now, during the NATO summit in Washington they are literally planning how to engage in World War III thinking they will make even more money.

  16. In the event of a global conflict, the Netherlands and Denmark will not stand aside, and fulfilling the will of Mr. Blinken, one of these countries may turn out to be the second Atlantis, and the other may share the fate of the giraffe Marius.

  19. Previously it was about Abrams tanks – when they arrive, everything will change on Ukrainian battlefield, everybody forgotten about tanks, now it is about F16s.
    "Putin must not win, Putin must not win". Are these people out of reality, or they are dragging time, trying to sell lots of US made weaponry and to get killed lots of Ukrainians (and Russians).

  20. F16s to Ukraine, after the U.S. said that would not happen. Ukraine has a huge amount of war dead & clearly the F16s is a decision to send U.S. & allies' young men to die for Ukraine.
