  6. I have to admit, I was expecting this post to go in a completely different direction.

  9. Part of a previous role was organising WEEE disposal collections for a company with offices all round the world. A country not previously supported was added to the supported list, so I put the first collection request in.

    Quote came back for £15k when I was expecting £1-2k. Asked for a break down. Turns out £13k of the quote was to hire a shipping container and pay for the shipping to get it 4k+ miles back to Europe and then dispose of it.

    Have to wonder who okayed that as a process and expected anyone to go with it.
