    That helicopter was flying in straight line, he made no evasive maneuver or reactionary movement, it’s very unlikely the pilot saw the drone.

    The helicopter was doing around 310 Km/h (fast cruise speed) while a small drone can do 70 to 100 Km/h.

    Make the design a little bit bigger, include a small explosive, and such drone could be a nice addition to perform anti-air behind. It could land and stay hidden in enemy territory, while an observation drone scan the horizon. Once an helicopter is spotted, it take off and goes on the attack.

    It could even be an addition to drone boat if it include some automatic AI control : launch the drone and it will converge toward whatever large it detect flying near.
