I live in Newry beside the train station.
I got a job in Dublin, beside mountjoy square, about a 20 minute walk from connolly station. The job's completely office-based initially – probably til Christmas – so I'm thinking of moving a bit closer to Dublin.
In the meantime, I have to grin and bear it.
I see from Irish Rail a weekly ticket costs €63.60 and a monthly costs €292.
Any idea if it's cheaper to purchase a ticket from translink? Or are there any other options I'm missing? Is it even possible to purchase weekly tickets from the Newry station?
Also, I'm assuming it wouldn't be possible to journey from say Newry to Dundalk return on the same weekly/monthly?
