>The Belarusian Foreign Ministry said Lukashenko has approved temporary visa-free travel for citizens of European nations arriving by rail or road, describing the move as a reflection of the country’s “openness and peacefulness.”
>The new rules, which become effective Friday and last until the end of the year, allow European travelers to stay in Belarus for 30 days without visas. They broaden the existing visa-free regime for residents of European countries arriving by plane.
No, thanks
It’s a trap!
Can’t wait to see the ad campaign !
Remember that German tourist who was arrested first thing when he arrived at a Russian airport? No thanks, I will stay away from Belarus and Russia for the next few years at least.
Lol ever said something negative about russia? Or serve in the military of a nato county?
Welp thats probably illegal in Belarus, and you are now a terrorist ,18 years in gulag for YOU..
And Please enjoy the rest of your vacation 😘in the Ruzzian federation.
That’s a no thanks, from me.
awesome stuff. now more people will be eligible to not want to go there anyway
I guess they need hostages to extort the West
Fuck that. 😂
I’m good
Aaaannnd you’re drafted!
How long to make use of that before being voluntold to fight for Russia becomes a certainty?
Meanwhile the EU travel advisory to Belarus is “**Do not travel**”.
>Belarus imposes strong penalties for very broadly defined and arbitrarily enforced offences such as ‘terrorism propaganda’ and ‘discrediting’ the Belarusian government, security forces and military organisations. Penalties may be severe, including the death penalty for ‘high treason’ under Belarusian law.
So yeah..
just remember to delete mocking luka, russian regime memes, might end up serving 15 years in gulag for insulting fragile supreme kolhoz leader or just end up beaten to death.
I’ve been waiting all this time for visa-free access to…Belarus.
Belarus is a place people leave, not enter.
At the same time, they convicted a German national to death.
Fucking LOL.
Ah you can take those 35 countries away from your visa free entry
I went there once visa-free and at the border they insisted I needed a visa, probably trying to bribe me. They eventually let me through, but I had to go to Minsk and buy a “visa”, which they printed on a piece of paper, even though I didn’t need a visa. Asked my own consulate and they had no idea wtf they were doing, but advised that I follow their instructions. Visa free my fucking ass.
Fuck that for a laugh!
They will probably put a sack over your head the second you cross the border, and then you’ll somehow find yourself dressed in Russian army clothes on the front line.
Oh yeah, it is well known how many europeans are queuing up to travel to Belarus.
This implies there’s a good reason for people to visit Belarus.
I’ve been to Belarus, and the train ride from Vilnius to Minsk is probably the closest thing to a real-life time machine that I’ve experienced. The journey only lasts a couple of hours, but you travel backwards 50 years from a modern, vibrant European capital, to a Brezhnev-era Soviet city. Definitely a weird experience.
