1. I had to double check if this isn’t The Onion article.

   You’d think that of all people, the editors of the Nature journal would point out to the author that perhaps if our profligate ways have led to the very atmosphere trying to get us to buzz off, finding new ways to keep at it is not what the scientists should focus on, but no, that line of thinking appears to be too far outside the ruling paradigm.
