Ukrainians will continue the fight against Putin even if Trump is elected | Richard Shirreff

“All my Ukrainian friends tell me, we know that if we stop fighting, Ukraine will cease to exist.”

Trump’s promise to end the Ukraine-Russia war “in 24 hours” will mean nothing to Ukrainians as Putin still threatens their sovereignty, says Richard Shirreff and Dr Liam Fox MP.

  1. Listen to video iterviews by US Professors Jeffrey Sachs and John Mearsheimer on Ukraine. They tell it like it is. Both have also been interviewed by Piers Morgan on Uncensored.

  2. Liam Fox is deeply foolish. He fails to join the dots between Putin, brexit, and Trump. He also fails to understand that the special relationship does not exist! Trump and indeed the US could t care less about the UK!

  3. There are too many people in the US who are undereducated in history and international relations, and too many politicians who appeal to this base. Neither Trump, nor Vance, nor in fact anyone with influence in their circle, is basing their opinions or stated policies on reality. My ancestors revolted against the Crown in 1774, mainly because the Coercive Acts tried to abolish the colonial parliament, the local governments by town meeting and put down the nascent democratic and republican sentiments prevailing in New England. We do not, now, hold a grudge against the UK, nor feel particularly thankful for French support. Many of us, in fact, have more Irish and German blood than British. I doubt that Trump, Vance or the majority of their supporters know or care about any of this. Fascism in the US like Fascism in previous European regimes, ignores real history for fables, true religion for self-serving myths, and democratic republicanism for autocracy. In addition, they are more prone to lies and propaganda, so you should not try to use their words or reason to determine what they will actually do.

  4. The media thrives on winding people up. They never point out that the US president is not the US government. Presidemtial powers are limited. When the president has dictatorial powers and congress and the senate are abolished, only then we do need to be worried about democracy.

  5. There will be opposition, but Trump will try to get the US out of NATO, if elected. The only question will be how much opposition there will be.

  6. 🙈🙉🙊GoogleYouTube👶removed my comment. A terrible monopoly. I violated "NO" YT guidelines. Good luck with your comments friends🖖🤞👍

  7. The Uranian people deserve better. These people are fighting their hearts out, and WINNING, only to be sold out by the land of the FREE and HOME OF THE BRAVE. Should Trump /Vance advance to the WH. FCKing shame.

  8. Warmaking power in the US government is vested in the US Congress and not in the US presidency in the concept of "separation of powers". So, when Pearl Harbor was attacked in 1941, FDR went to Congress to ask them to declare that a state of war had existed since the attack took place. Similarly, to end a war Harry Truman went before Congress to declare the receipt of the declaration of surrender by Japan. So, the Congress is the government body that will declare that the USA is in a state of war or peace. Trump cannot do it alone. He is not a dictator and does not and will not have those powers as President. These are powers and rights defined in the US Constitution that are RARELY amended because of the difficulty of passing a constitutional Amendment.

  9. all brits know to many arabs in uk, they trying to change the country, would any of them fight for uk if there was a war, think not

  10. Highly likely 🙂 zero creditability. On the same channel, they share how the Russian army is incompetent, and how easily NATO will win, and oops, on the same channel, they are saying Russia is highly likely to attack NATO. How will they do that without severe and imminent defeat if they are so incompetent? Super reliable analytics

  11. Times Radio broadcaster:
Can't fathom your laconic airs and graces when you fail to appreciate that the "that's faraway" quote puts isolationism into simple language, surely?

  12. Every US President have asked the European nations that weren’t meeting their 5% defense spending in NATO to step up. So the idea that Trump is right about that as though it’s a new concept is bad reporting.

  13. I find Liam Fox's statement that some folks are looking for reasons to be offended, when he was asked about Vance's statement about UK being (or on its way to being, under Labour) the first nuclear-armed Islamist state, to be ludicrous. It's an offensive statement, no one need look for reasons to be offended. I have to believe that Fox knows that but he's trying to avoid saying anything that a Trump/Vance admin could use against him or his colleagues if Conservatives get back into power. Or maybe as a Conservative, Fox just likes hearing slams of Labour, no matter how ridiculous (and bigoted).

  14. UkraineHasBecomeRu22ia's NewAfghan-¢risis! PutlerhaveSo ππ…—..E…–…$—$>>>E. D WithTheWr0ngÇ0uπty4sure! 😏

  15. NATO was the aggressor that instigated this war with Russia and Ukraine . If you can’t see that or don’t acknowledge that . I don’t know what to tell you.
James baker swore to Russia that nato would not move an inch to the east .
American didn’t keep their word …..again

  16. Problem with the argument is the following; if you believe that Russia will attack nato, admitting Ukraine in nato is pointless. The truth is Russia will not attack NATO directly. The threat for isolationist Americans is in losing their prosperity. Because if Russia dominates Europe politically, it means USA losing influence that’s converting to economic growth. That growth will go to Russia. So Russia will not attack NATO, that’s why the only chance of ending the war is taking Ukraine in NATO and isolating Russia.

  17. HI MISTR DREAMER WHO GO TO TRENCH IN FRONTLINE? UKRAINE LOST FROM FEB22 MORE THAN 750 THOUSAND SOLDIERS .ALL NATO MEMBERS MANUFACTURING 300THOUSANDS MUNICION IN SAME TIME RUSSIA MAKE OVER TWO MILLION AND 600 THOUSAND TEN TIMES MORE THAN ALL 31 COUNTRIES .IF PUTIN SEE HE LOST THE WAR WHO STOP HIM NOT USED NUCLEAR WEAPONS ? YOU ? .ME? IM NOT SURE .YOU GOT BUNKER WITH SUPPLIES 75 PERCENT PEOPLE DON'T HAVE

  18. America has give more money and security to Ukrainian then any European country. Your countries are not at 2percent military spending you have cooked the book to make it seem like 2 percent. American taxpayers have funded you defense for 70 years. It’s time YOU TAKE OVER. America does love European folks .just take care of your people!!!

  19. Richard Sheriff .please Britain cannot defend itself against a similar offensive…and You think Britain will come to aid of Baltic states in this hypothetical situation which is arguably highly unlikely..

  20. How upside down is this world ? to see Starmer slide effortlessly into "warmonger " mode and committing to continuing the war against Russia seems odd ?? same old story and it looks bad …. it appears hypocritical to the extreme !! LONDON is on fire !!! sought your own problems before telling others what to do . YOUR GOVERNMENT COULD USE A J D VANCE OF ITS OWN uk yr an embaressment
