Earth’s melting ice sheets may screw with your tech

   …said the society that shrugged and did hardly anything when they were warned that climate change would destroy their ability to grow food, and go outdoors during the summer, and live anywhere near the coast and where category 5 hurricanes used to come through once every century or so.

2. It mentions that the slowing by1.33 ms per century will have effects on time keeping and navigation.  GPS is like magic, but it’s built in top of very accurate time keeping. 

   It sounds like something that will happen slowly and gradually enough to be less important than other issues like the fires and flooding, but one more problem isn’t something anybody needs.
