  1. The German automobile industry is struggling because of cheap EV’s imported from China but the German government still refuses to raise taxes on them. Doesn’t make any sense to me. Why not help the local industries and prioritise them?

  2. Makes sense since no-one really knows if those tarrifs hurt us more than helping us in the long term. To not be in favour or against the tarrifs is the logical consequence of that lack of knowledge.

  3. I think european car makers realised long ago that they can’t compete on low and medium segments with China. Just luxury ones have the opportunity, where price is not that important.
But they don’t want to be clear with stock owners and employees.

  4. 5% percent gov party throwing a tantrum again. Next election they are out

  5. First they cooperated with r*ssians now with Chinese. Truly a team player!

  6. Are they stupid? Germans are the main benefactors in keeping Chinese competition at bay.

  7. German politics are really close to China, like they never learn lessons from the past

  8. At this point, if you don’t realise that Chinese crap needs to be scrutinised well, you’re either radicalised by the CCP propaganda, or you are dumb.

China is not capable of producing qualitative EV’s. They feed you fake PR, but the products are trash.
