1. You need to convince people to give other people “free money”.

   And that means *Welfare Queens!!!!* (dun dun duuuuun!)

   You also need tons of laws, regulations and other government programs or all that UBI will get hoovered up monopolies.

   UBI isn’t a silver bullet. In a worst case scenario it’s just an excuse to eliminate government programs like Medicare & Medicaid.

2. Coulda woulda shoulda. This entire scenario is being pushed by UBI advocates and anti-work people. The liklihood that AI and Robots will take all the jobs is slim and none. Ever since the invention of the wheel we have been replacing human labor with machines and we have always ended up with more jobs not fewer. Robots and AI make workers more productive. Productive workers make more money. Workers making more money drive the economy. AI and Robots are a good thing.

3. Anyone who thinks UBI is a threat to “identity”, purpose or dignity; suffers from a sense of prestige based on wealth and nepotism.

   Gratitude, humility, honesty; these are the principles that will rise to the top when the wellbeing of yourself and your loved ones isn’t dependent on having people under you.
