    We know he was 20, registered Republican, donated to a Democratic PAC, liked guns, wore camo hunting type clothing to school, was bullied, called “school shooter” by classmates. That is basically where everything ends. We don’t know motives we can guess, but one guess is based on just as much of a hunch than any other motive.

It’s philosophically a wider blindness to the fact that someone may be a human being with subjective experiences. It is far beyond just language; it is “a fundamental moral misrecognition”.
