  1. The hands off policing is only creating a training and recruitment ground for the fascists who are openly talking about physical force violence.

  2. Being honest, I don’t think I ever heard of Coolock before about two weeks ago

  3. I’ve spoken to a lot of people and it seems like the sentiment is highly supportive of Gardai using reasonable force for these rioters.

In my opinion if they’re being violent then they should be pepper sprayed, batoned and water canoned into oblivion.

  4. And we are going to have 300 more across Ireland, sounds good!

  5. You may not like the poster but they highlight the problem effectively.

We’re 2.5 years into the Ukraine war and still the government are pushing through centers in socio economically disadvantaged areas against the will of many local people without consultation. It’s mad. I’m furious with government.

They should be following procedures, engaging and compromising. Worse, there seems to be nobody normal willing to propose solutions and integration strategies.

What are the options? Vote for Niall Boylan? No thanks but people faced with few options may start voting for those head the balls.

This is not good. Fair and equitable solutions need to be found. I could imagine zero protests if there was consultation and a compromise amount of people taken in . Also, Dublin 4 and dalkey need to take more.

  6. The more illegal immigrants come in the worse this is going to get unfortunately.

  7. How about this as a headline “Local population ignored by government fight back against corrupt police force “
