The transphobia on display in these articles is unbelievable. Apparently ‘things J.K.Rowling tweets about’ is a credible link for journalists now.
>It has now emerged that Wadhwa was suspended when a tribunal concluded nine weeks ago. “Mridul is not on leave voluntarily; she has been put on leave,” a source said.
given the damning verdict in the employment tribunal, it’s not surprising
I suspect that the reason it has taken so long is the Downing case and the need to be careful around sub-justicy, now that that case has concluded I hope there a swift disciplinary action to kick out

The times has really gone off the deep end.
>Downing, an SNP equalities officer, was convicted of multiple sexual offences …sentenced to six years in prison after he was convicted of ten charges including assault, sexual assault and domestic abuse.
>He falsely accused a male partner of rape and then blackmailed him into carrying out sexual acts. He was also convicted of sexual assault against three women and another man.
>Before his arrest, Downing said ERCC was the reason he was “able to keep going” and he “cannot put into words how much they’ve helped me”.

Absolutely mad that this person used to post on here
Wonder what this person’s new username is on reddit.
If this is true, why on earth is this person in charge? There’s 0 place for this absolutely idiological bias nonsense and woke drama in a place where people have been raped and want to talk to someone of the biological gender that matches who they are for support… and that they feel will understand them better and also likely isn’t of the same gender as the person who raped them.
I was raped at 18, now in my 30s and long since worked through it, but I guarantee you no man is going to understand all the thoughts and feelings that went through my head the way another women who’s been subject to the same stuff I have all her life would be able to. Any transperson of any gender, or man who’s been raped, is going to feel and think some completely different things that I didn’t, and I wouldn’t be able to give them the same level of support they need either because I wouldn’t fully be able to understand how gender dysphoria then being raped affects someone, or how the societal masculinity expectations of a straight male then being raped affects them and how they feel about themselves etc. Trying to blanket everyone under the same umbrella when we are all different and experience things differently is not an outcome transgenderism should be trying to force onto other people because they want to be accepted as that gender… So in doing so they try to change that biological gender to do and act or accept what they think it should be doing instead of realising hey, I can’t force a woman to not act or feel like a woman because I identify as one so think they should act and feel how I do. This isn’t what it should be about at all.
This doesn’t belong in a rape crisis center ffs.
Good.
I read the judgment.
She’s not fit to run a crisis centre for traumatised women. Turning away victims for daring to ask if the centre is female only is disgusting. What makes it worse is that she didn’t even signpost the women to the only other centre that _is_ female only! Her own feelings on the matter took priority over rape victims getting pointed at appropriate care.
That’s not even getting into the campaign of bullying and harrassment she subjected a member of staff to.
And what was the staff members crime?
A female support worker came out as non binary and chose a masculine name. Inevitably, this prompted questions from potential service users about whether the support worker was male.
The “evil terf bigot” staff member suggested in an internal email chain that they should reassure the service user that the NB member of staff was born female but doesn’t identify as a woman.
That it. That’s what kicked off a year long campaign of bullying.
I feel for the many trans women that have to suffer for the despicable behaviour of a small percentage of psychopaths that masquerade.
Also feel for biological women who feel that they should be able to have same sex (sex not gender) bathrooms because of concerns over this small number of lunatics.
It’s a very sensitive topic. As a straight male who is comfortable being a straight male, I’ll never be able to understand the nuances of it all bit it’s easy to have sympathy for all involved (bar the horrible r@pey bastards).
