Hey all, I have had a nightmare and broken my wife’s favourite glass that she brought back from Finland many years ago. Surprisingly there was a thread about this about a year ago where same thing happened to someone and I’m hoping that you guys may have some suggestions for getting one over here in the UK.
Any help super welcome as she is devastated and as much as I would love to say let’s go to Finland and (borrow) another one we can’t afford that right now.
Please help me Finnish Reddit 🇫🇮 ❤️

There is a Finnish saying that a broken glass brings as many years of good luck as the number of shards.
Edit: unfortunately it’s not possible for me because those glasses were the prize of a collecting campaign and I don’t own the glass in question. I’m sorry I didn’t read the caption before commenting, but I hope you’ll be lucky and find a new one.
Can always try tori.fi and contacting people there (search ”karhu tuoppi”). Postage will cost a bit and it might reach you in the condition pictured here. Some 2nd hand stores sell these and might send them abroad (again, just google ”karhu tuoppi”).
Or you can contact Karhu through Sinebrychoff and maybe if you’re lucky they have some sympathy.
This guy is selling 12 of those for 15 euros.
You can break couple more by accident! 😉
