French left suggests former communist MP Huguette Bello for premiership • FRANCE 24 English
Following France’s election runoff Sunday which left the lower house of parliament without any overall majority, but a broad alliance – the New Popular Front (NFP) – of Socialists, Communists, Greens and the hard-left France Unbowed (LFI) which won the most seats, President Macron is poised to appoint the next prime minister. While the alliance struggle to come up with a name that all can agree on, the latest speculation is centred on Huguette Bello, 73, a former communist MP and currently the president of the regional council in France’s overseas territory La Reunion, as a possible consensus candidate.

Let them choose a candidate, which will be rejected (just so that we can say that they have had a chance), then the centre can choose the real candidate which actually has a chance.

And I hear she is against French laïcité applied strictly in public schools (and being chummy with some key political islamist figures) and yep abstained on gay marriage and is suspected of having homophobic tendencies. Not a good look. But if the NFP want to get censored quickly, sure. Go ahead.
This channel lies all the time and this another proof. The Socialist Party, part of that "popular front", has rejected that candidate., which was proposed only by the communist muslim far left.
