King Charles greets over 40 leaders at Sir Winston Churchill’s birthplace

The reception at Blenheim Palace took place for the fourth European Political Community summit

King Charles III has met with over 40 world leaders as they gathered for a reception at Blenheim Palace.

During the event – which took place on 18 July at the Unesco World Heritage Site and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, the King was seen laughing with Ukraine’s present Volodymyr Zelensky and receiving a ‘thank you’ from the French President, Emmanuel Macron.

The historic location in Woodstock, Oxfordshire housed the European Political Community summit. The King arrived in an electric audi, before he met with the prime minister, Sir Keir Starmer on arrival at Blenheim’s Great Court.
