  2. I don't think the F16s are coming. With the Russian dominance in the war at the moment I believe NATO is worried the fighter aircraft will be destroyed quickly with little effect on the battlefield.

  8. I don't think Ukraine's change of tune has anything to do with Trump. We know they have manpower problems, we know they said they didn't have weapons to arm more units even if they could raise them. They just gave up on the crazy operation in Krynky. We know unrest is growing. They are losing, and they know it.

    But the bitter irony of it all was that a diplomatic solution was possible even before the war began. To appeal to diplomacy now is an admission that the whole war was pointless.

  17. This war was over before it even started. At this point theres only 2 things happening: Ukrainians are dying for nothing, a select few (Americans included) are getting very wealthy the longer this goes on.

That the king is supposedly surrounded by Germanophiles and wants to conclude a separate peace. Russian liberals promised London and Paris that they would strengthen Russia in the fight against the Germans many times over and made gigantic plans to capture Constantinople. Then France, Britain, Japan, and the United States agreed to this plan, at the same time agreeing to divide Russia after the war like China into economic concessions.

    And when, during this adventure, the Russian army collapsed and the Bolsheviks eventually seized power. Britain and France again got involved in an adventure, believing the promises of the tsarist generals that the power of the Bolsheviks could be easily overthrown, staged an uprising of the Czechoslovak corps and started a civil war in Russia. After France, Britain, and the United States intervened on the northern coast of Russia, the Far East, and after the surrender of Turkey, the Black Sea coast.

    They fought to the last in the war. The last steps are pumping weapons into Poland against the Bolsheviks.

  23. Russia does not want to have such a long border with an enemy state that also cooperates with NATO and wants to join this alliance. This was probably the most important incentive for the Russian Federation to enter Ukraine. When NATO member states support Ukraine's admission to NATO and do not agree to the disarmament of Ukraine.
