Yes, it does. That’s the point. People in precarious circumstances haven’t the luxury of going on strike, or protesting poor working conditions and abusive bosses. The Toris want a nation of wage slaves who do as they’re told by their betters (i.e. the wealthy).
How much more are people willing to take before deciding enough is enough?
Going to be fun for employers with so many reluctant and transient workers briefly chugging through their system.
Surely if you are looking for a job or you need a job then doing any job until you are in the job you want is better than not having any job? Having a steady income is better than not.
Also I thought zero-hours contracts were a thing of the past thanks to Sports Direct etc exploiting people.
Tbh while I understand that from a political point of view it’s important to appeal to higher earners the harder harsher injustice is for those earning less losing their job.
