1. Complete BS. Mr Zandi is assuming that Trump is serious and will impose tariffs on everything. Nothing could be further from the truth. Trump’s intention is to get reciprical trade deals and has said many times he would use tariffs as a means to an end. If Mr Zandi was any kind of an economist he could look at Trump’s previous tariff policies and see that they had a negligible effect on the economy. Too many economists (including Zandi) look at policy positions like this as static instead of what they are.. dynamic.

We should definitely just continue on with the status quo of unsustainably building up infinite amounts of debt to saddle our children with.
